Anybody know any great places to eat around here? Cost-wise or food-wise or both?
Champion Food @ Warner and Magnolia has pretty great spicy fried chicken and boba

hmm... I can think of a bunch of places with super amazing food... but I'm not too sure about the pricing, and I don't think it's on the cheaper side... Except for the pizza they sell at Costco, which is freaking amazing cuz it has a ton of cheese (me being the extra cheese pizza sort of person that I am) and is super cheap.

Fuji's both cost-wise and food-wise, but not exactly location-wise. But there's a subway on talbert and magnolia and there's J&J subs.

If you're looking for a quick, delicious food-to-go, Subway and Tommy's are awesome! I'm not sure if Tommy's is fresh, but I can guarantee that Subway is. *endorse*

If you're looking for getting down to eat...I got nothing.

Japanese:
Shin Sen Gumi (Hakata ramen): near Brookhurst and Ellis is quite nice, been going there for years.

Kappo Honda: Brookhurst and Ellis, not super cheap but has some good Udon with a nice atmosphere and the servers are super nice.

Peruvian:
Casa Inka: on Warner, generally awesome Peruvian food that I can't find anywhere else.

French:
Champagne at South Coast Plaza, crystal court- I like the bakery and its a nice place to study. I live for their lemon cookies.

I live right next to casa inka! it used to be a pizza place with pool and huge flat screen that they'd let kids watch cartoons on back in the day lol

What's Peruvian food taste like/known for?

Bong Bong noodles across from Bella Terra is pretty good. They serve VERY spicy noodles. Ebisu's Ramen House on Brookhurst is my top pick ;D I second for Tommy's!!!!!

Aw, that sounds like it was fun!

Peruvian food is similar to spanish and cuban, I think. Lots of potatoes, fish, vegetables, and herbs. Garlic-y, too. I'm not sure how well it can accommodate vegetarian folk, but pescatarians would be happy.

(Also, Veggie Grill at UCI is amazing, hands down. http://www.veggiegrill.com/VG_Menu.pdf)
